# Can't install or use any Custom Node Type

Hello
I wanted to try \*\*Qwen Image Edit
for that I installed ComfyUI (Desktop version)
Dow load a GGUF Workflow (\*\*qwen\_image\_edit\_gguf.json)
and **required Models (Including VAE, Lightning 4-step,** …)
when I open workflow, I get these Node Types are missing
**ModelPatchTorchSettings,
CLIPLoaderGGUF
UnetLoaderGGUF
PathchSageAttentionKJ**
I press install missing Nodes.
but it stays on install and won’t finish or show any progress bar or %
I leg comfyUI open for about 3 hours and when i open it again, still Missing Nodes and no Installation happend
so I installed those manually
Open CMD as Admin in ComfyUI\Custom\_Nodes (where ComfyUI-Manager is)
git Clone http … ComfyUI-GGUF
git Clone http … ComfyUI-KJNodes
then pip install requirements.txt for both
still when i open comfyUI i get missing nodes
and in ComfyUI-Manager Don’t see any Node installed and Install Button’s still not working
**now**
I’m from **Iran** which probably filter some Sites, might be include some ComfyUI’s sites
when i open ComfyUI, proxy off I don’t see anything in ComfyUI-Manager
when i oepn ComfyUI, proxy on. I only see two package node
• GGUF
• KJNodes
don’t see any other Node or package
I also keep getting warning that my **pip** is ver 22.0 and i must upgrade it to 25.0
i hope someone be able to help me

If you already know how to use a git command, give the Portable Version a try. Is by far way more easy to mantain and understand what is happening. The Desktop installer has too many problems yet. 🤓
