# ComfyUI v0.4.51 Installation Fails with Git Timeout Error

I’m having trouble installing ComfyUI and getting a fatal error that prevents the installation from completing. The app crashes during the installation process.

Based on the log files, here are the specific errors I’m encountering:

> [2025-06-14 08:53:46.401] [info] Starting installation.  
> [2025-06-14 09:21:20.680] [info] Sending queued message {“channel”:“log-message”,“data”:“Error: Timed out attempting to execute git\n”}  
> [2025-06-14 09:21:32.333] [error] An error was detected, but the troubleshooting page could not be loaded. The app will close now. Please reinstall if this issue persists. FatalError: Cannot troubleshoot before installation is complete.
