# Unable to start .5.11

cant start comfy UI, 5.8 wasnt working either

i am having the same issue but here is som additional information from the logs in my case : omfyui.venv\Lib\site-packages\torch\cuda\__init_\_.py", line 403, in \_lazy\_init  
raise AssertionError(“Torch not compiled with CUDA enabled”)

[2025-11-29 12:11:12.912] [error] AssertionError: Torch not compiled with CUDA enabled

i have uninstalled and reinstalled torch in the comfyui environmet several times and verified it is torch+cuda121
