Cant run comfyui on lan network

hi, i have comfy working fine etc but i really need it networked by lan so i can use it in my workshop also on my mac as my pc is in the house , i have tried everything i can think of but it will not work, i have the --listen and even tried --listen 0.0.0.0 --port 8188 and still nothing connects, i have turned off all firewalls on both computers and in my router but still the same, anyone else had this issue and resolved it please
