Try the ComfyUI directory listed there - if that doesn’t work, please let us know.
A fix for this issue is coming in the next release.

Still working on the next release, but if you’d like to keep troubleshooting, there are some steps below. The next release should resolve this issue.
Try removing both extra_models_config.yaml and config.json from %APPDATA%\ComfyUI. When you next start the app, it will be in installer mode. Select a new, completely different path to install to, and run through the install / download process again.
If you run into issues and are migrating custom nodes/extensions, try without.
hi there same error. I did a first installation. But then change my mind and I wanted to fresh intall it on another ssd. Error came in the second installation. I can’t install it any more. Installer got into the same error over and over again. Can you help?
solved deleting config.json sorry couldn’t find it before.
solved deleting config.json file (app data it’s an hidden folder, there in ROAMING I could find the comfyui foldere, there you can find the config.json file.
Yep, you can just open file explorer in Windows, and type %APPDATA% into the address bar.
