Queue seems to have disappeared?

Something odd happened today. I was running a few things and all was going well, and then suddenly I noticed that everything just stopped. Like it was frozen, but it was not frozen. I could clear the queue and load more tasks, but just nothing would actually happen. Even with a retart of the entire computer it would show however many tasks still in the queue just sitting there.

Luckily I was able to run an update and it has allowed me to continue to run tasks and do things. but. I noticed that the “queue” button of the left side tab is missing, which is unfortunate because that is the tab I used to see the steps rendering and to view images for comparison and to control the queue.

has anyone else noticed this missing lately? I am not sure if this is a custom node or what is going on. Everything still works, it is just unfortunate that that tab is seemingly gone now. I think it used to look like a circular arrow button on the left side tab.
