Would you please try the uninstall tip in: Notion – The all-in-one workspace for your notes, tasks, wikis, and databases.
Windows: Delete these 2 folders as follows to start over:
C:\Users\WINDOWS\AppData\Local\ComfyUI_electron
C:\Users\WINDOWS\AppData\Roaming\ComfyUI

After many attempts and hours trying to install Comfy in a particular location, I finally seem to have got it. I picked a location on my D drive but Comfy installed in the default Users\Documents, maybe from a second click after asking for the updated version? I un-installed and looked for the 2 directories mentioned by Jo_Z and in the User Guide. I did not find the directories there but after some searching found them elsewhere, for instance I couldn’t find:
C:\Users\WINDOWS\AppData\Local\ComfyUI_electron
but did find:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\comfyui-electron-updater
After a few rounds of this I finally ran the Uninstaller and deleted 3 directories and the folder on User/Documents and finally was able to get back to the Reinstall options and install on my D Drive
