In Windows 11 I got to troubleshoot everything. At first I had to install Git etc, and now I have everything except the re-install troubleshoot with a green tick, everything has been troubleshooted. Additionally I have tried re-installing ComfyUI about 3 times now but I still face the same “Unable to start ComfyUI Desktop” message. Any idea why?

Same. Was running 0.5.5 but updated to 0.8.2, now I can’t run desktop at all. I just get “Unable to start ComfyUI Desktop.” I tried uninstalling and reinstalling - both 0.8.2 and 0.5.5, both have failed. Also tried reinstalling python, did a windows system restore no change. I got the desktop version to run once on a reinstall and fix, but after I closed and reopened it, it failed to load again. Running on a Nvidia RTX 4070 (12gb), and AMD 5600G CPU, 64 GB sdram with internal SSD hard drives.
I can run the portable version, but I prefer the desktop version. The current portable also won’t install many custom nodes that I use which were previously working. I’m going to try rolling back the portable version to an older build, but I’d still prefer the desktop version.
