new to comfy UI!! just downloaded the dmg file and unfortunately failed installing…

What macOS do you have installed for those who cannot get ComfyUI to run?
I am using macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 and do not have any issue in starting up v0.4.30 Desktop
I"m on sequoia also, I had to reinstall several times
Which version of Sequoia?
What is your computer specs?

M3 max -96GB ram, so it should do ?
Every time by installing some missing nodes, ComfyUI blocks, won’t restart anymore
Am I understanding you correctly, ComfyUI did work, but when you installed some missing nodes, then it stoped working? What if you go to ComfyUI/custom_nodes and delete the folder that is the name of the node that you wanted to install. Does ComfyUI now work?

Guys, I fixed it! 1. Change the application base path in “troubleshoot” to a folder on your desktop.
2. Delete everything in that map you just created. 3. In “troubleshoot”, press “Reinstall ComfyUI”. Thanks me later

know it, it works
- Delete all the folders in path for removing the old environment. you can keep the output, customs nodes, models to other path first.
- select the new install comfyui path in troubleshoot
- install python or something else, it will auto install all the needs thing.
- install comfyui.
- pull back all output, custom nodes, model back to the new comfy path.
I faced the same issue above. Anyway after following his steps and finally fixed!
