If I don’t keep Comfyui in the foreground while it’s loading up, it stops responding and then freezes. Any ideas other than keeping it in the foreground to load up? I don’t have this issue with any programs I use other than this one.
That is very strange, but I was not able to reproduce this issue. Does the app behave the same way with custom nodes disabled? You can toggle this option on in the app settings.
If that resolves the issue, you should be able to find the problematic extension using the bisect custom nodes feature of comfy-cli
.
If it does turn out to be a custom node pack, please do let us know which one.
I did this and there was no change. I left comfyui load in the background and it timed out. Since then it’s somehow self repaired. Maybe it was a pushed update that fixed it? idk.
Great news all the same - thanks for letting us know.
If it comes up again, can you please try the same disable nodes, and also grab the log files main.log
and comfy.log
? If you can let us know what time the issue happened as well, we can match that up with the logs and try to see what’s going on.
I sure will but at the moment I cannot get desktop version of comfyui to work bc of the update fk’n everything up including not detecting my nodes or directories of my models.(That’s in another post of mine)
