I assumed that some default checkpoints would be loaded on installation, especially the one associated to the default workflow shown on startup. Was this a problem in the installation? Or is there an expectation for the user to load models manually in the checkpoints folder after installation?
It just seems odd that a workflow would be shown if the checkpoint isn’t included in the base install.
I’m confused, when I first download Comfy for the Mac, there is an Unsaved Workflow. When you try to run it, it says checkpoint not found.
So jsut confused about how to start as a total noob should we just delete this workflow as not interesting and then go to t a template workflow? The notion user guide doesn’t talk about the default workflow first loaded, so confused
As rhuang mentioned, there are no models loaded by default. You either use the template workflow to prompt a download, or download your own. They likely do this so you can download the models you prefer like Flux or SD3.5 for example. If you want a good tutorial on how to do that, I recommend starting here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zko_s2LO9Wo&list=PL-pohOSaL8P9kLZP8tQ1K1QWdZEgwiBM0
