Unable to start 4.23

2nd time it’s happening, first time there was some folder that was missing in the comfyui folder, so I just manually made it and it worked. Now today at first it says ‘C:\Users\Me\Desktop\ComfyUI\models\user is not a valid directory.’

Reinstalled again, but deleted the 2 appdata folders as instructed by you guys, and now it says FilenotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘C:\Users\Me\AppData\Roaming\ComfyUI\extra_models_config.yaml’
Error: Python process exited with code 1 and signal null

please advise

Is there a way to fully uninstall? All the times I reinstalled it never asked me to specify a preexisting models path like it did the very first time.

Which, by the way might not work as it should. I tried installing ipadapter after my first installation and comfy couldn’t see the models even though I copied the files to every comfy models path I could find. So even if I specified for it to use my a1111 models path at the installation, it wouldn’t see the ipadapter models until I manually changed the yaml paths file.

Removing the 2 app data folders specified here doesn’t work after uninstalling from windows: Your connected workspace for wiki, docs & projects | Notion

Edit: Nevermind, missed the 3rd folder, it’s full reinstalling now, I opted out of the model folder migration and will do it manually through the yaml file, reinstall ipadapter, and restart comfyui desktop to see if the error comes back.

Ok, so far so good, I’ve restarted my comfyui after setting everything up and there’s no errors as of now.
