ComfyUI base download/install needs more prepackaged models

Please please please consider adding more preinstalled models beyond just the one image - video Wan2.2 model, Comfy UI is one of the best local AI generator software programs but it is so incredibly confusing for beginners and in my experience trying to install anything new on here has been an absolute nightmare.

Please consider either prepackaging more models/loras etc. with the initial installation for people to get started or make the UI more intuitive when it comes to missing files and where to put them, I’ve tried installing multiple models through the model manager, manually in the folders and it refuses to appear when I try looking it up in the UI.

My advice is , go from the templates. They contain the links to the required models. And are a good starting point. Most of the times you don’t even need to understand it. Just write your prompt, and hit run.

And be happy, back in the days you really needed to dig in the internet :slight_smile:
