I am also getting the "[error] Error creating virtual environment: Error: File not found: " on an install attempt. Here is my main.log. I don’t think there is a comfyui.log file yet (if there is, I don’t know where it is).

it looks to me like it’s not successfuly creating the .venv folder.

Confirming I have the same issue (uv.exe exists but it fails to find a file, and I also suspect an issue with venv). Also tried deleting files and reinstalling, to no avail.

Hi there, can you please open the following directory (can just be pasted into explorer), and check if uv.exe exists there?

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\@comfyorgcomfyui-electron\resources\uv\win

It should contain:

uv.exe
uvx.exe

If it does not, there is a possibility your AV is throwing a false positive for UV (due to new self-replace behaviour). Please let us know either way.

Tried with 0.4.0 and same issue. Deleted the entire %LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\@comfyorgcomfyui-electron\ dir too.

To answer the exact question, yes, uv is there (see screenshot).
