Question, why do you install Python? Comfy runs in an venv, and comes usually with everything needed.
I don’t know why. It just errors repeatedly when I try to install Comfyui. What’s even stranger is that I installed Python separately, but it seems that Comfyui didn’t detect it.
That’s the standalone, right? I would suggest to install the portable version instead.
The global python installation at your system has nothing to do with the python installation that comes with comfyui. ComfyUI runs in a virtual environment. That’s two independent things. DON’T install python in Comfyui. You will break it. And that’s most probably what already happened.
Note that i am just a user like you. Maybe one of the devs can tell you more exact what is borked here.

Thank you very much! It seems that this is the only option.
You can delete the “uv“ folder from (C:\Users\userName\AppData\Roaming\) and reinstall comfyUI
