Dear ComfyUI/ComfyUI Manager Support Team,

I am writing to report an issue I encountered while attempting to install a plugin in ComfyUI. Specifically, I am receiving errors related to security level restrictions, despite my efforts to adjust the settings.

Here are the details of the problem:

  1. Error Message:

    • Initially, I received the following error: ERROR: To use this feature, you must either set '--listen' to a local IP and set the security level to 'normal-' or lower, or set the security level to 'middle' or 'weak'. Please contact the administrator.
    • After adjusting the ‘–listen’ parameter, I then received: ERROR: This installation is not allowed in this security_level. Please contact the administrator.

  2. Configuration File Issue:

    • I have been unable to locate the config.ini file in the expected directory, <USER_DIRECTORY>/default/ComfyUI-Manager/config.ini. This makes it difficult to adjust the security level settings as prescribed in the documentation.
    • Also, I have searched within my extra_model_paths.yaml file located in the ComfyUI root directory, and this file does not have the web_security section that is stated to be modified within the documentation.

  3. Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

    • I have attempted to manually create a config.ini file with the recommended security level settings (weak), but the issue persists.
    • I have verified the ComfyUI-Manager installation path.
    • I have restarted ComfyUI multiple times.

  4. System Information:

    • Please let me know what system information that you need, and I will provide it.

  5. Log File Information:

    • Here are the last two error messages that were received within the comfyui log file.
