Many people will want to try flux.1-dev to create some images, as it allows e.g. 1024x1024 resolution. There is no workflow to download this in the Templates section.
Please include it or explain how we could start using that model.
Do we just download the desired .safetensors file (in this case the one here: black-forest-labs/FLUX.1-dev at main ) and then save it in the comfyui models folder, found in help, open folder, open models folder, and then switch the checkpoint selected in comfyui on a pre-existing workflow?
If you try this, you receive the following error:

ERROR: Could not detect model type of: \ComfyUI\ComfyUI\models\checkpoints\flux1-dev.safetensors
Since that didn’t work, this was tried:
(The two files were downloaded from here and placed in the folder mentioned. ComfyUI was restarted, and the flux.1-dev was still not possible.
