Hi, I’m looking for the folder text_encoder, and finally find it in C:\user^local or roaming I don’t remember. Why it is not in the same folder “models” ? It’s more complicated for backup and add or remove some text encoders FP8,FP16 for Flux.
Do you plan to move it to the models folder ?
The installer is really great and simple (but the portable version is better for the moment)
How did you download the text encoder? Was it with Manager?
It should be going to the same folder as <location you picked in the setup menu>/models. Which version of Comfy Desktop are you on?
Hi 0.3.28 for ComfyUI desktop, and yes with the manager.
Actually is here “C:\Users\jcmar\AppData\Local\Programs@comfyorgcomfyui-electron\resources\ComfyUI\models\text_encoders\t5\t5xxl_fp8_e4m3fn.safetensors”
At the install I choose the J: letter and can’t change the others folders C:\users
All classics folders are in J:\ComfyUI\models\ (checkpoints, VAE etc. ) only the text_encoders is in C:\users
And if I move it in J:\ComfyUI\models ComfyUI desktop doesn’t recognize it
Next a completly unistall (delete in appdata tje 2 folders, dellete all folders in installation folder) and using again the console manger all is ok.
